Richard Squires, MFA, MA
Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Narra
Richard Squires is a professional memoirist and storyteller who has written more than 60 memoirs celebrating the lives of individuals and families. His life’s work is driven by a deep passion to preserve personal histories before they’re lost—and to do so in a way that honors each storyteller’s unique voice and legacy. He believes everyone deserves to have their stories captured in a form they’re proud to share—now and for generations to come.
That passion began early. Inspired by his grandfather’s vivid stories of flying fighter planes in the Pacific during WWII, and by his own family’s closeness and love of storytelling, Richard launched LifeStory Memoir. With two master’s degrees and decades of experience, he has seen firsthand how meaningful and lasting the impact of a well-told story can be.
As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Narra, Richard now brings that same dedication to helping people around the world create keepsakes that celebrate their memories—and to making the storytelling process joyful, accessible, and deeply rewarding.
